Daly Waters is a tiny settlement at the junction of Stuart Hwy & Carpentaria Hwys. Located 620 km south of Darwin and 212 m above sea level, it was named after the SA Governor, Dir Dominick Daly. Today it is more of a travellers’ stopover point and most famously is home to the legendary Daly Waters Hotel. Campdraft (Sept). Daly Waters has fairly limited accommodation however there is an inn, pub and caravan park.
